VET Excellence Pathways for Sustainable Collective Catering and Restaurants (RestaCoVE) is a 4-years project designed to establish CoVEs in the field of Collective Catering and Restaurants integrating the participation of 18 partners in 6 countries including VET providers at secondary and tertiary levels, regional authorities, enterprises and sector representative organisations. RestaCoVE is based on the 3 General Objectives (G.O.):


G.O.1 - To establish a wide EU teaching and learning model for VET excellence in Sustainable Collective Catering and Restaurants.
G.O.2 - To promote sustainable cooperation between VET, enterprises, academia and local/regional communities in the field of sustainable collective catering and restaurants.
G.O.3. - To reinforce the governance, strategic planning, and financial sustainability of VET ecosystems in the field of sustainable collective catering and restaurants.


RestaCoVE includes activities of teaching and learning, establish 18 micro-credentials for supporting the development of sustainability skills for the collective catering qualifications across EQF 3 to 7 (cooks, chefs, cook assistant, nutritionists and food technologists) aligned with a skill eco-system co-created between the cooperation of enterprises and education. RestaCoVE establish mechanisms for anticipating the competences gaps and align the VET offer to training and market needs, stimulate enterpriseseducation alliances, propose the integration of collective catering and restaurants with S3 strategies across 10 regions and 6 countries. RestaCoVE provides tools for the transferability of competences in real labour sectors such as Employers Guidelines for measuring sustainability skills during job selections, Effective Apprenticeships and WBL practices. RestaCoVE is designed to support the governance and funding strategies and stimulate the formation of a knowledge triangle in the field of sustainable collective catering.
